e-BRIDGE – Involvement of women entrepreneurs
in the international cooperation debate
e-BRIDGE symbolises an innovative bridge of cooperation between women. Entrepreneurial women from Poland establish mutual relations with women in Ukraine and other countries.
The main idea behind the project is constructive social support for actions undertaken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as other public and social institutions for the success of democratic changes, above all in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
The objective of the project is to support proinnovative attitudes and develop women entrepreneurship in Poland, Ukraine and in the countries of Eastern Europe by broad inclusion of socially involved women entrepreneurs in the discussion and development-related cooperation. Direct exchange of knowledge and experience, supported by new IT technologies, will allow presentation and wide use of experience and good practices of entrepreneur women from Poland for women in other countries, in particular in Ukraine.
The “e-BRIDGE – Involvement of women entrepreneurs in the international cooperation debate” is an innovative enterprise which creatively supports the development of social involvement of Polish women entrepreneurs in the development-related cooperation with entrepreneurial women from other countries, in particular from Ukraine.
The involvement of Polish women entrepreneurs in the international cooperation debate will be achieved by:
- Informing and demonstrating Polish solutions as a model for democratic transformation which can be an example for countries in the process of system transformation and construction of mechanisms of a civil society
- Involving the potential of a wide group of women entrepreneurs – their skills, experience, contacts and social passion – as a resource of the Polish foreign policy which has not been used yet
- Developing innovative mechanisms of development-related cooperation based on the experience of the Polish-Ukrainian project for the support of women entrepreneurship, implemented in 2015 and 2016 and supported by a grant from the US Department of State
A valuable feature of the project is to focus on demonstrating in practice, by examples and popularisation of good practices, the social involvement as well as the establishment and promotion of a wide international community of women entrepreneurship which is kept together by the same beliefs, self-help, trust and cooperation.
The “e-BRIDGE – Involvement of women entrepreneurs in the international cooperation debate” has received a grant in the competition organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the implementation of a public task which consisted in supporting self-governmental and civic dimension of the Polish foreign policy in 2016. The entity responsible for the execution of the project is the Embassy of Women Entrepreneurship Foundation.
